TYLCV: Virus tomato yellow leaf curl.
Symptom:
The plant has
yellowness and encarrugamiento or curly leaves.
Another visible
symptom is dwarfing in plants affected.
Condition:
It is
transmitted by Bemisia tabaci whitefly.
It is rarely
transmitted by contact between plants affected.
** There is no
information to be transmitted by land and seed.
Prevention:
Use plastic
mulch silvery repellent to manage the
entry of whitefly.
Set corn as
hedgerows to handle whitefly input.
Remove affected
plants alternate, host of the virus as weeds, volunteer plants.
Make crop
rotation.
Management
should be directed to the vector, use traps Yellow.
Use tolerant
varieties virosis.
Perform
management around the crop.
